The exclusive dial bears the unique signature of the famous watchmaker Alain Silberstein. A style recognizable among all in which geometry and colors create a unique and joyful harmony. Inspired by the compass, hands and timer offer simple, graphic and playful time reading, while the “lollipop” hand travels around the dial to measure the visible time that passes. On a central disc, the Lion of Judah, emblem of the EEIF, is essential.

Two inseparable quotes from the spirit of the EEIF complete the design of the dial, discreetly engraved in the sapphire crystal in a concentric fashion. The first, written in French, comes from Avodah, the most famous text by Robert Gamzon, founder of the EEIF: “I would like you to be a builder”. The second, in Hebrew, is a biblical quotation that the Éclaireuses et Éclaireurs Israélites de France sing each morning upon awakening and which recalls the great moral values to which the Jewish people are attached: “How beautiful are your tents, O Jacob! Your dwellings, O Israel! ".

The watch case is made of Ocean Composite, an exclusive material developed by AWAKE in 2019 from re-elaborated fishing nets. Ultra-resistant thanks to the addition of fiberglass, it is one of the first upcycling innovations introduced in the watch industry which embodies the brand's mission: to raise awareness and pave the way. of a much more sustainable and respectful manufacturing in the face of the climatic and environmental challenges that are ours. Its deep blue blends perfectly with the emblematic colors of Alain Silberstein's work, in an approach that echoes the human and altruistic values carried by scouting and the EEIF.

On the back of the watch has been engraved the official emblem of the Éclaireuses et Éclaireurs Israélites de France, composed of the Lions of Judah protecting the Tables of the Law, coupled with a fleur-de-lys inscribed in a clover symbolizing the membership of the EEIF in the two world Scout organizations: the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). The association's motto, "For good always ready", as well as the commemorative dates of the centenary of the EEIF reinforce the very symbolic significance of this special edition.

The strap is made of BIOPOLY, our signature bio-sourced material made from castor oil. Light, comfortable and durable, this bracelet is decorated, in relief, with two strong symbols of scouting:

The Scout salute symbolizes the Scout Promise which unites all Scouts in the world. It is carried out as a sign of recognition between scouts, mutual trust and friendship. The thumb on the little finger shows the protection of the weaker by the stronger. The three middle fingers symbolize the three components of the Scout Promise: the search for meaning and purpose in life, responsibility towards others and constant self-reflection.

As for the tent, it is a reminder that nature is the playground, of discoveries and of life for scouts. It echoes the Biblical quotation in Hebrew affixed to the dial side.
