Graphic and colorful, the SUMMETRIA range, meaning “The Right Measure” in Greek, is inspired by the perfect symmetry of life. Halfway between innovation and tradition, between arts and sciences, SUMMETRIA is a tribute to the beauty of the world and nature, expressed through the centuries-old watchmaking technique of guilloché.
GUILLOCHÉ TO EMBODY THE PERFECTION OF THE SYMMETRY OF LIFE
To try to reproduce as faithfully as possible the perfection and beauty of the symmetries present in Nature, we have opted to use one of the oldest decorative techniques in watchmaking: guilloché. This consists of engraving “guillochi” patterns by hand or machine in a regular and symmetrical manner on metal.

In reality, and this is the magic of life, nature creates these captivating and mysterious shapes with complete simplicity according to a logic of "just the right measure" promoting productivity while consuming little energy.

Living organisms systematically adopt the best possible output for optimal efficiency, for the purposes of filling and permanently optimizing space. The most complex and captivating symmetrical structures therefore appear preferentially due to natural selection on the one hand, but also because they require less specific information to be coded and therefore multiplied.
